Advertising is a very broad term that is essential in many real-life situations. It is a form of communication by delivering your message in a creative way. Advertising creates associations with products and services and maintains their image in our minds. To narrow it down, advertising is used to create awareness, persuade or remind people about an idea, product or service.
Although it might not be apparent, advertising is used in people’s life daily. For instance, when people apply to a job and present their resumes, they are using advertising. It is similar to selling themselves by designing and writing their CVs in creative way in order to persuade the interviewer to hire them.
I believe that advertising is very essential in our daily lives; without it, there would be no competition and no creativity.
Nike, McDonalds, Nokia and Kit Kat and many other brand names come to our minds by simply mentioning specific words, thanks to slogans in advertising
